Amia Bidle is a senior who is new to the newspaper staff, but has quickly found a passion for journalism. She enjoys sharing the stories of her peers and giving a voice to the student body, believing that strong communication creates a stronger community. While she is just getting started in the field, she loves the challenge of reporting and connecting with others. Outside of the classroom, Amia enjoys a highly active and social life. You can often find her lifting weights, relaxing with a good book, or spending quality time with her friends and family. After graduating, Amia plans to attend cosmetology school with the long-term goal of owning her own salon. She looks forward to applying the strong communication skills she is developing on the newspaper staff to her future career in business and beauty.
